The South Carolina Hepatitis C Coalition is a group of health care professionals and concerned citizens working together to address the emerging problem of Hepatitis C in South Carolina.

  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the 13 major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which is the principal agency in the United States government for protecting the health and safety of all Americans and for providing essential human services, especially for those people who are least able to help themselves. It is very informative, straightforward, and especially good at remaining current.
• Hepatitis Magazine
  This is the online version of Hepatitis Magazine. The print version is definitely worth receiving, and they would love for you to subscribe, but even if you don't do so, the online version is worth bookmarking. Lots of content, frequently changed, and a nice set of links to a variety of hepatitis related web sites. Take a minute to read the section on their history.

  A very comprehensive informational site, with many links. One proviso – the operators of this web site are affiliated with one particular brand of the herbal remedy "Milk Thistle", so take that for what it's worth.

  The Hepatitis WebRing is a simple, yet interesting and informative way to locate the most current information on the Web pertaining to Hepatitis. It is also a great way to meet up with people who have similar interests. We welcome sites pertaining to any form of Hepatitis.

  The Hepatitis Doctor web site is a most informative site, with a very comprehensive table of links located at the bottom of the main page. It is the creation of Dr. Bennett Cecil of Louisville, Kentucky.   Zhang Clinic, the web site of Dr. Qingcai Zhang of New York. Dr. Zhang is a medical practitioner trained in both eastern and western medical practices, and the author of Healing Hepatitis C With Modern Chinese Medicine. One example of the practice of Integrative Modern Chinese Medicine.

  This is the site of Dr. Melissa Palmer, renowned hepatologist and author. This site is included here primarily for its internal links on Diet and Nutrition, Herbs, Exercise/Fatigue, and Sleep.
• The Clinical Trials site
  This is the place for "one stop shopping" if you would like to be informed on what clinical trials are underway or currently recruiting.
• Be In Charge and Pegassist
  These are sites for programs funded by Schering Plough and Roche Pharmaceuticals, respectively. They are informational sites geared toward assisting people that test positive for HCV. The actual programs, accessible by toll free telephone numbers, are both staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• InferGen Aspire Program
  Similar in some ways to the Be In Charge and PegAssist programs, Aspire offers 24 hour a day "Nurse Hotline", and a number of resources for HCV+ inidividuals. The main difference lies in Aspire's additional focus on "Non-Responders", those people that have tried combination therapy without success in eradicating the virus.
